The Ross W. Medlar Scholarship Fund

Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
As we all move forward and begin to resume our daily lives, we will each find our own way to accept the fact that Ross is no longer with us. Whether we knew Ross as a family member, as a childhood friend, as a co-worker, as a boss, or simply as a dear and trusted friend, we were all touched by his presence in our lives. Ross taught us all how to be better human beings, how to be giving and understanding and never to judge anyone. His love of life and nature was truly amazing. He cherished his family above all else.
It is with these memories in our hearts that we have set in place the foundation for the establishment of The Ross W. Medlar Scholarship Fund. This Scholarship will be awarded each year in Ross’ name to a student graduating from Bergenfield High School. What a wonderful way to keep Ross’ memory alive!
As we began to think of the Scholarship in real terms, we thought everyone who knew Ross would surely wish to be a contributor. And so I ask that this letter serve as both an announcement of the Scholarship and a request for you to consider a contribution to the Scholarship.
